CHED endorses ICCEE2012

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through its chairperson, Hon. Dr. Patricia B. Licuanan, issued a Memorandum endorsing the ICCEE2012.

The memorandum states that "in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act 7722, otherwise known as the Higher Education Act of 1994, this office endorses the above undertaking organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, De La Salle University-Manila for the support and participation of all concerned."

Submit your abstracts now. If your abstract is accepted, the ICCEE2012 will send a letter of acceptance and invitation for possible funding by CHED. Paper presenters must contact and apply directly to CHED.

Paper presenters from CODs may apply to CHED for funding under the COD program: “Participation in Scientific Conferences” to cover travel expenses, accommodations and conference fees, among others. Send a letter/email to:

Non-COD Schools:

CHED also supports paper presentors even from  non-COD schools. In connection with the International Conference on Civil Engineering Education (ICCEE2012) hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering, De La Salle University-Manilato be held in Manila on November 9-10, 2012, we are inviting CHED’s CODs in Civil Engineering listed below to submit an abstract and present a paper on the theme, “Addressing Global Challenges in CE Education" and apply for CHED funding.
